Reading: Wednesday 14th May at Waterstones, Canterbury

I’ll be reading an extract from Fin de Siècle, which appears in the University of Kent’s forthcoming Kent Review, at Waterstones in Rose Lane, Canterbury, on Wednesday 14th May from 18.30. The Kent Review, edited by Amy Sackville and Dragan Todorovic, launches on the same day and is available to order here.

Wise Words Anthology Launch and Exhibition

The launch of the Wise Words anthology, at Canterbury Heritage Museum on Saturday 13th October, will mark the culmination of my work with Canterbury Laureate and LSE Royal Literary Fund Fellow Sarah Salway and the Wise Words project.

The anthology showcases poetry, prose and photography produced by several community groups from the Canterbury area in a series of intergenerational workshops led by MA students from University of Kent and PGCE students from Canterbury Christ Church University. Featuring work by participants from Kent Refugee Action Network, Medway Mermaids, the Moving Memory dance company, St. Nicholas School, Whitstable’s Desert Island Divas and a group of independent writers and photographers, the anthology will be available to purchase at the launch or here, via Waterstones. The accompanying exhibition, which opens on 13th October, is set to run for two weeks.
